Oracle Forms/PL/SQL Developer (Winnipeg)

Overview

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking an Oracle Forms/PL/SQL Developer.

Responsibilities

• Review and remediate PL/SQL logic and Oracle Forms components impacted by the encoding conversion
• Update triggers, stored procedures, and validation rules to support multi-byte character handling
• Support the DBA in interpreting conversion impacts on application logic
• Execute testing and validation of core system functionality post-conversion
• Identify and resolve issues related to character handling, validation, and data processing
• Develop and execute test scenarios for various edge cases including multilingual and non-standard name formats
• Document findings, risks, and recommended remediation steps
