Job Description
Job Title: Optometrist – full time, permanent. Closing Date: 3 July 2026.
A typical day will involve completing eye examinations, contact lens and extended service examinations, supporting the Dispensing Optician Manager, and maintaining departmental standards. You will work under extended service contracts with the NHS, delivering a wide range of eye‑care services and gaining any additional accreditations required, supported by Asda’s CPD programme and protected time.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive eye examinations and extended service examinations.
- Support colleagues with training, coaching and maintaining departmental standards.
- Provide care for NHS‑extended service patients and assist with monitoring eye conditions.
- Use your clinical skills to create a memorable customer experience.
