Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye care services, including performing eye examinations and fitting contact lenses, eyeglasses and other corrective lenses.
- Advise patients about vision problems, detect signs of eye diseases and refer patients to ophthalmologists as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in optometry or a related field
- Valid optometry license
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency with various optical instruments
- Knowledge of the latest optometric practices and techniques
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
