Ophthalmology Specialist - Clinical Leader & Surgeon

Department of Health in South Africa is advertising a sessional Ophthalmology Specialist (x1) to provide expert eye care, interview, diagnose and manage patients in a hospital setting, while supervising interns and registrars.

The post requires MBBCh with MMed in Ophthalmology, CMSA registration, and HPCSA registration; a minimum of three years post-specialist experience.

Salary is tariff per hour depending on years of experience: R671 for 1–5 years, R766 for 5–10 years, or R887 for 10 years.
