Hire Resolve’s client in the Transport Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an Operations Manager to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. Responsibilities Ensure that all vehicles are licensed & roadworthy and maintained according to requirements Ensure that all vehicles are clean and aesthetic, all auxiliary equipment, and systems, e.g., Fleetboard, Fuelmaster, etc. are fitted and working Optimize the utilisation of all vehicles through proper planning, scheduling, controlling and maintenance of vehicles Achieve budgeted Revenue and Profit targets Manage costs in line with budgets e.g., salaries, fuel consumption, labor broker/casual costs, vehicle R&M, rental, fines, penalties, cell phones etc. Ensure that the department complies with all relevant financial processes and control procedures e.g., data capturing and expense authorization and that all required reports are submitted timeously Ensure that insurance claim documentation is completed and submitted timeously Del...
