Operations Manager

General Job Information:
Job Purpose: The Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end SC functionality of Distribution Centre. Functions will include People Management, Finance Management, Process Management, Customer Satisfaction and SHEQ Management.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
TES industry experience would be an advantage
Minimum of 5 years of management experience preferably in a warehouse/logistics/supply chain environment
Exposure to unionized environments would be an advantage
Knowledge of BCEA and management of IR processes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
Gr 12 minimum
BCom/Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Agree on Fill rate and Headcounts with the Client every season and Budget period; 96% is the targeted Fill Rate per shift;
Ensure that staff payments via TES and WFM are accurate and presented timeously;
