Job Description
SA - Gauteng, BoksburgOur client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong engineering background to lead the end-to-end operations of their slurry pump business. This role is responsible for managing imports, procurement, production, assembly, quality, warehousing, logistics, and the successful execution of mining slurry pump projects.
The ideal candidate will have progressed from an Application Engineer or Project Manager role into operations management and possess the technical expertise and leadership skills to build and manage high-performing engineering and production teams.Minimum requirements:
Manage the import of pump components and spares from China.
Oversee local procurement and supplier relationships.
Lead production planning, assembly, and manufacturing operations.
Manage warehousing, inventory, logistics, and customer deliveries.
Ensure quality standards, inspections, and compliance are maintained....
