Job Description
Our client is a US-headquartered multinational consumer goods company looking for an Assistant Manager, Operations (Contract Manufacturing). This is a role with genuine end-to-end ownership, where you manage the full CM relationship across the region.
You will be accountable for your assigned CMs and suppliers delivering on cost, supply reliability, quality, and service. This means negotiating commercial terms, scrutinising cost breakdowns, driving ongoing cost improvement, and holding partners to account through structured reviews and KPI scorecards, while keeping production plans and capacity aligned to protect supply. You will also run sourcing exercises in line with category strategy, via scouting and qualifying new partners, managing RFQ/RFP processes, and building total cost of ownership models to inform decisions on new products, dual sourcing, and risk mitigation.
