Requirements

• Basic qualification accredited with the SANC in terms of Government notice R425 (i.e. Diploma or Degree in nursing that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council). Post Basic qualification Orthopaedic nursing science with a minimum duration of 1 year accredited with SANC. A minimum of 9 years of appropriate recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional nurse with the SANC in general nursing. At least 5 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate experience after obtaining the 1‑year post basic qualification in the relevant specialty. Computer literacy will be an advantage. Diploma/Degree in Nursing Administration / Health Service Management.
