One PreDoctoral Contract at the IAC ASTRI Mini Array PS-2026-060

The IAC (Tenerife, Spain) invites applications for one PhD fellowship in Astrophysics within the framework of the “ASTRI Mini Array” project, funded through an international agreement with INAF (Italy). The PhD project will be supervised by Drs. Alicia López Oramas and Josefa Becerra González. The selected candidate will be based at the IAC headquarters in La Laguna (Tenerife) in a stimulating research environment, where he or she will carry out scientific work within a specific and innovative project, leading to the award of a PhD degree.

Research Group and Areas

Candidate will join the “Particle Astrophysics” research group, which is part of major international collaborations in very high‑energy gamma rays (MAGIC, LST, CTAO, ASTRI). The group also focuses on multi‑frequency studies, allowing a comprehensive analysis of extreme processes in the Universe.
