Job Description
Position Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair ship's Engine Room Equipment.
- Duties & Responsibilities
- Lubricate moving components of the engines and auxiliary equipment.
- Monitor and control indicators and gauges of temperature, pressure, condition of the systems, oil levels, etc.
- Take part in specific mechanical operations, such as transferring oil, fuel and other fluids.
- Assist in general maintenance in the engine room.
- Qualifications
- Holder of a valid USA C1/D or B1/OCS USA VISA.
- Holder of a valid COC STCW III/4 Rating forming part of an Engineering Watch or III/5 Able Seafarer Engine
- Holder of valid STCW Certification.
Availability for the first week of April.
