Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Long-Term Care team. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving residents' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs), enhance independence, and improve overall quality of life in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate residents' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities upon admission and as needed
Develop, implement, and update individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions focused on ADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, balance, and safety
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and home safety strategies
