Job Description
Role and Facility Information
We are seeking two generalist OBGYNs to work in a community hospital in Maple Ridge, BC. The position involves 6‑7 home‑call, 24‑hour shifts per month within a supportive team of physicians who also practice independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary and consultative maternity care.
- Collaborate closely with family practice, midwifery, and hospital teams.
- Supervise elective medical students from the University of British Columbia, if desired.
- Participate in the UBC medical education program and apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Qualifications
- Current CPSBC license (full).
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership.
- Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).
