Observatory Telescope Operations Engineer

Las Campanas Observatory in Chile is seeking a full-time Operations Engineer / Scientist to support operations of astronomical telescopes. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance and support of telescopes for ongoing scientific research.

This role requires an advanced degree in astronomy, physics, or engineering, and fluency in both English and Spanish. Candidates must also be able to work at high altitude and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
