**NYPL After School Tutor - Charleston Library**

**Description**
**Overview**
New York Public Library is hiring Tutors for the NYPL After School program, which provides free, drop-in homework help and enrichment activities for school-age children across NYPL locations in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island.
The 2025-2026 program term for NYPL After School will run from **September 14, 2026 to June 9, 2027** . Work will begin for all staff with required orientation workshops scheduled between **August 31 - September 11** .
All Tutors work **Monday-Thursday** afternoons, 16 hours per week, with four hour shifts scheduled between approximately 2:00-7:00 PM. Some additional hours may be required for staff meetings and professional development. Tutors are not scheduled to work d...
