Job Description
Contribute to energy innovation at NWR as a Process Engineer overseeing Studies and Development. Enhance operational performance through detailed process assessments at our Sturgeon Refinery.
As a crucial part of the Process Engineering team, you will develop engineering deliverables that enhance bitumen processing. Collaboration will be key, as you work alongside various engineering disciplines, providing insights that drive project success. This on-site role embraces a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as focal point for assigned process studies
• Collaborate on test runs and improvement projects
• Develop detailed engineering scopes for projects
• Manage process simulations and economic evaluations
• Facilitate safety reviews and problem-solving sessions
Requirements:
• Professional Engineer designation in Alberta
• 10-20 years in process engineering roles
• Extensive experience in a refinery or related field
