Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Packages Receiving clerk collaborates with the Gerlach Office and Packages team to execute the receiving, tracking, delivery and distribution of packages received in Gerlach and Black Rock City.
This is a temporary, full-time , non-exempt role, based in Black Rock City, Nevada and Gerlach, NV running from August to September , 2026.
The deadline to apply for this role is 5:00 pm Pacific on July 17th, 2026.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Package Receiving (25%)
+ Validate packages as they are delivered by UPS, FedEx and independent shippers before accepting/signing for delivery to ensure they belong to staff, departments, or approved recipients.
+ Receive mail and packages at the Gerlach Office and Packaging container during the event and pick up mail and packages from the Gerlach Post Office.
