Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To lead and manage manage nursing and allied health services and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure the continuous improvement and maintenance of quality care.
To ensure clinical operational efficiency and effectiveness as a strategic imperative.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
To provide strong leadership to the team
To actively drive, ensure compliance to and support a culture of quality care
To develop, implement and monitor the nursing strategic plan to ensure that clinical and operational goals are met
To actively manage and facilitate patient safety and other risk processes and practices
Effective workforce planning and resource management to ensure a balance is achieved between clinical quality care and operational efficiency
