Nursing Assistant (HUD-VASH)

Summary Incumbent serves as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Housing and Urban development- Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) Program which provides permanent housing and supportive services to veterans in homeless population. CNA functions as a team member of the HUD-VASH team and is responsible for providing direct-patient care to veterans in the program. Responsibilities Under supervision of the HUD-VASH Supervisor, the Incumbent providers direct patientcare to culturally diverse and aging veterans in the HUD-VASH program. As this is a multi-disciplinary program, the CNA is responsible to facilitate communication, collaboration, and the delivery of services to patients between the multiple clinical specialists involved in patient care.
