Job Description – Nursing Assistant

REPORTS TO: Chief Nurse / Clinical Coordinator / The Nursing Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Registered Nursing team for daily duties and patient care responsibilities and is ultimately accountable to the Clinical Coordinator and Chief Nurse.

CLASS: Full-Time; The Employee is required to work as scheduled, including days, nights, evenings, weekends, on-call and Public Holidays.

Primary Role

• Provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring and compassion are at the core of all we do.
• Assist with patient care activities as directed by the Charge Nurse or designee, in accordance with the patient’s plan of care.
• Support patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, oral care, skin care, toileting, and use of catheters, enemas, or other aids as required.
• Assist with feeding and monitor dietary intake as necessary.
