Summary The John D. Dingell VA Medical Center is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner- Palliative Care. The NP practices to provide a full range of services in outpatient/inpatient settings emphasizing quality, timeliness & the advancement of the mission. The NP provides advanced clinical practice, consultation & management. The NP practices to the full extent of their education, training, & certification. Responsibilities The NP has prescriptive authority for a panel of patients or program as indicated by their position or assigned by their supervisor. The major duties include, but are not limited to: Independently manages or in collaboration with attending physician(s), a panel of patients with acute and chronic health conditions with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention using evidence-based practice.
