Nurse Practitioner – Oncology - Nurse Practitioner – Mount Sinai Oceanside - Full-Time Days

**Job Description**

A nurse practitioner is certified under section 6910 of the New York State Education Law and licensed as a registered nurse. A nurse practitioner provides acute/primary health care in accordance with written policies approved by nursing and medical administration.

**Qualifications**

**Qualifications:**

+ Master's degree program designed to prepare a registered nurse to provide acute/primary health care services or the successful completion of an approved supplemental education program (i.e., post-Masters NP certificate.)
+ Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state.
+ Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required
+ Preferred minimum of 2 years of oncology or hematology/oncology clinical experience as an NP or several years of oncology RN experience with advanced practice training.
