In this exciting role, the framework of the philosophy and objectives set forth by the Director of the Transplant Programs, the Nurse Manager is accountable for the supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the transplant program staff. This position requires an advanced level of expertise and overall understanding of organ transplantation. Utilizing a wide range of alternatives in problem solving situations, demonstrates a high degree of professional competence and skill. Responsibility involves coordination of interdisciplinary medical care delivery system under the direction of the Medical Director; assessment of appropriate medical intervention for effective use of resources and quality assurance.
