Job Description
Overview
Transform lives as an Addictions Counsellor in North Battleford with the Saskatchewan Health Authority. This full time position is focused on both service delivery and community education in addiction support. Travel is required in this permanent position as part of service delivery efforts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical case management for clients
- Develop and implement tailored addiction treatment plans
- Educate the community about addiction and resources
- Work with a team to enhance service delivery outcomes
- Employ screening tools for effective assessment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Dependency or acceptable equivalent
- Valid Class 5 driver's license required
- Experienced in problem solving and patient management
- Comprehensive knowledge of addictions and their impact
- Flexibility for travel within the community
