Non-Executive Director, BRITISH VETERINARY ASSOCIATION

We are the British Veterinary Association, the largest representative body for UK vets with more than 18,000 members. We’re widely recognised and respected as the voice of the veterinary profession. We champion and support vets and the issues that matter most to them – including animal health and welfare, public health, and issues affecting the veterinary workforce.
We are looking for a Non-Executive Director, ideally with a membership association background and/or experience in digital and data to guide our Board and contribute to all Board activities and duties.
The time commitment is for a minimum of 6 Board meetings per year, plus attending other committee meetings as required. The total time commitment is expected to be up to 18 days per year.
Meetings are held in London or online. Expenses are reimbursed in accordance with BVA’s expenses policy. Remuneration is £7,630 per annum.
