Job Description
The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- First point of contact for day-to-day network operational support.
- Responsible for network monitoring and operations support involving key infrastructures of fibre broadband business.
- Respond to all incident reporting, ticketing, emails and calls.
- Perform first tier fault analysis and troubleshooting with relevant stakeholders before escalating to higher tier for assistance, if required, and work closely for resolution.
- Supporting change management request with acknowledgement as required.
- Basic configuration and familiarisation of network elements within the fibre broadband infrastructure.
- Coordinating between upstream and downstream stakeholders for operational success.
- Maintaining and updating internal knowledge base to ensure accuracy, relevancy and accessibility of crucial information.
