Nightly Telescope Survey Operator (SDSS-V) — Lodging & Meals

Las Campanas Observatory is looking for a full-time Survey Observer/Operator to join its Survey Operations Team at the du Pont telescope. The role includes managing nightly operations, instrument checkout, and monitoring data quality.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in astronomy or a related field, along with fluency in English and Spanish. Benefits include transportation, meals, and lodging at the observatory.
