Job Description
Join the RCH as a Night Trauma Team Leader at our Level 1 Trauma center. Lead trauma responses and consultations during night shifts while overseeing patient management in the Emergency Department.
The RCH Trauma service seeks two Team Leaders for night shifts, requiring a commitment of at least two shifts monthly. As a critical member of the Trauma Service, you will respond to trauma activations, manage admitted patients, and engage in Trauma Service meetings and committees to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to trauma activations in the Emergency Department
• Manage calls for admitted patient consultations
• Attend regular Trauma Service meetings
• Participate actively in Trauma Service committees
Requirements:
• Completed a Trauma Fellowship and ATLS certification
• Active role in Emergency Medicine or a Surgical Subspecialty
• Minimum commitment of 2 night shifts per month
