Job Description
What You'll Work On:
Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, network optimization.
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Providing hands-on network support for production issues related to Colo/trading, office, and data center environments
Network Automation which includes pushing/updating configuration of multiple infra devices
Support and Administer firewall environments
Upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases
Provide direct technical support of Linux and related technology in a production/live trading environment
Provide direct technical support for networking issues and related areas in the production/live trading environment on Linux servers.
Knowledge of Multicast routing, PIM, IGMP protocols etc.
