Network Administrator (Barrie)

Position Overview

Department: Information Technology. Campus: Barrie. Classification: Support Staff. Status: Full‑Time. Hours Per Week: 35. Pay Range: $47.13 – $54.48 per hour (4‑year rate). Reporting to the Manager, IT Infrastructure. Location: Barrie, Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design, implementation, and support services on a college‑wide LAN, WAN, Internet edge, and cloud network infrastructure that is managed and maintained centrally.
• Enable and support information technology systems for academic and administrative services, including telephone and data communications.
• Research, test, plan, and deploy new installations, modifications, and repairs.
• Install, maintain, support, and administer hardware and software systems used for the college’s network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs, and NAC solutions.
