Job Description
I am recruiting for a NEC3 accredited Site Supervisor with environmental background to witness environmental tests and inspections that they comply with design and industry standards. Based in Birmingham. 6 months contract.
The role includes:
Monitoring and reporting of compliance with accepted Design, Works Information and applicable standards, specifications, and procedures. Communicates with the Project Management team to raise programme and cost risk that result from any non-compliance. Suggests Early Warnings and inputs into Risk Reduction Meetings where required.
Request NCRs and ensures notification of Defects where needed, in accordance with the Contract. Management of NCR and Defects through the contractor’s digital assurance platform and HS2 commercial platform. The Supervisor acts as the conduit between the Contractor and the HS2 teams in agreeing resolutions or acceptance to NCRs / Defects.
