Background:
In , Tajikistan adopted a new Law on Investments and Encouragement of Investment Activities. The law establishes the legal, institutional, and economic foundations of state policy in the field of investment promotion by ensuring the protection of investments and creating favourable conditions for entrepreneurial activities across the country. Pursuant to Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. dated 31 October , the SCISPM is designated as the authorized state authority responsible for the implementation of the Law.
