National Finance Manager - East London HO

Duties & Responsibilities

• Together with the FD oversee the full finance and accounting functions of the 3 businesses.
• Responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis required to inform the strategic decision-making necessary to enhance profitability.
• Follow divisional procedures and controls and ensure compliance with local accounting principles, rules and tax regulations.
• Prepare and present reports.
• Daily focus on STD costing.
• Inter-company sales and contribution.
• Balance Sheet recon, SOX reports.
• Fixed Assets.
• Project Management.
• Internal controls and B/S recons.
• Payroll review.
• Month-end closes.
• Hedging, currency management and cash forecasting.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• CA (SA)
• Minimum 5-years as head of Finance team with a national footprint
• Excellent IFRS knowledge
