Job Description
Result of Service The objective of this consultancy is to enhance the capacity of women and those communities who rely on fishing for their livelihood (fishers) in Timor-Leste to understand early warning systems and climate-related disaster risks. The consultant will lead a targeted disaster risk awareness and education campaign for women and men, facilitate the whole training/education campaign sessions, and update the existing communication materials to specifically tailored to the need and current reality of women in rural and vulnerable communities and community in coastal areas who rely on fishing for their livelihood. The consultant is expected to work closely with UNEP, the PMU Gender Expert, and project teams to deliver the following key deliverables: 1. Desk review and workplan development.
