MUSHROOM GROWER – FM2250

Polokwane Area – Limpopo: A well-established, family‑run farming operation is looking for a skilled and hands‑on Mushroom Grower to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail, technical growing knowledge, and a passion for precision agriculture.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Formal qualifications in agriculture or related fields.
• At least 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in mushroom cultivation, with a strong understanding of the entire process (compost making, growing, and harvesting).
• Extensive knowledge of different mushroom varieties and growing conditions.
• Experience in scaling mushroom production for commercial purposes.
• Familiarity with organic or sustainable farming practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems related to growing, pests, and environmental conditions.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
