Summary This position is located in Seasonal Staffing Office-Martin Luther King Jr National Historic Site, in the Office of the Superintendent. Responsibilities As a Museum Technician (History), you will perform the following duties: Unpacks objects and processes them (e.g., cleans, identifies, and preserves objects). Repacks objects, ensuring labeling that preserves data is associated with the objects. Catalogs objects; entering data into the designated catalog program. Files records in appropriate folders and affixes catalog numbers to objects. Prepares, maintains, and organizes manual and automated curatorial records including accession records, catalog records, loan forms, and donation forms.
