Municipal and Utility Design Engineer

OverviewAs part of AtkinsRéalis Engineering Services group, the municipal infrastructure team specializes in providing a full range engineering services for infrastructure projects to local, national, and international clients. The municipal infrastructure team is looking for a Municipal and Utility Design Engineer to join our growing team to work on one of the most important Canadian airport projects. The position is 100% in-office in Toronto.
ResponsibilitiesProvide subject‑matter expertise in municipal infrastructure design and construction, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and client requirements through design reviews, submittal reviews, testing, and Facility Alteration Permit (FAP) assessments.
Conduct field inspections and provide non‑resident engineering oversight during construction, monitoring designer inputs such as RFIs, shop drawings, material approvals, mock‑ups, and punch lists.
