About the Role
Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (Centre) welcomes a full‑time multi‑service Registered Veterinary Technologist to join our growing facility. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be compassionate, and adapt to client needs within various services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work well within a highly functioning team. The individual will be self‑motivated to remain productive when not assigned to a specific department and will be expected to work in the ER when required.
Responsibilities
- Start client appointments
- Collect and run or submit blood samples and radiographs
- Learn how to perform CT scans
- Monitor sedated and anesthetized patients
