Motor Vehicle Operator

Summary This position is located in the Transportation Section, under Facilities & Engineering Service at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), VA Medical Center, in Baltimore, MD. The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of functions, including safely transporting patients, visitors, employees, as well as supplies and personal belongings/medications, between campuses of the Baltimore VA Medical Center and various areas. Responsibilities Major duties and responsibilities will include: Operates gasoline, diesel, and electric motor vehicles, including sedans, vans, minibuses, ambulances, shuttle buses, light and heavy trucks, and motor coaches to transport patients, visitors, employees, supplies, and equipment which typically have an approximate gross vehicle weight of up to 38,000 pounds.
