The primary purpose of this position is to operate a variety of gasoline, diesel or electricpowered wheeled vehicles typically with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of more than 10,000 andup to 33, 000 pounds (+/- based on applicable vehicle/equipment Technical Order) on publicroads (or equivalent) in a full range of traffic conditions and at highway speeds to transport Responsibilities - Drives one or more types of medium trucks and special purpose vehicles, such as platform trucks, van trucks, stake trucks, forklift trucks to transport supplies, materials and equipment, which may be equipped with air brakes. - Performs operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and air pressure in tires, cleaning and washing of vehicles and performing inspection checklists to ensure safe and proper operation. - Maintains records and documents actions, such as operato...
