About the Role
As a Motion Control Engineer within our dedicated R&D team at Epiroc, you will play a pivotal role in designing and enhancing hydraulic systems critical to our mining and drilling machinery portfolio. This role entails working on both incremental improvements for existing products and pioneering innovations that elevate our equipment to new levels of performance, safety, and efficiency.
Your expertise in hydraulic system design will drive concept development, detailed realization, and successful handover to serial production, ensuring the highest standards are upheld throughout the product lifecycle. You will collaborate extensively across functions—engineering teams, sourcing, manufacturing, technical service, and customer centers—while also interfacing externally with suppliers and end-users, including visits to challenging environments such as underground mines and construction sites.
