Job Description
Mosquito Biologist, Debug
Minimum qualifications:
- PhD or in Entomology, Biological Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience working in insect biology.
- Experience in the planning and operational roll‑out of public health programs, pest control interventions, or other logistical projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in mass rearing and downstream quality assessment of mosquitoes or other insects.
- Experience refining and evaluating the rollout of mosquito interventions such as SIT, bed nets, or pesticides.
- Experience in DNA extraction and qPCR methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analytics using Google Sheets, R, Python, or similar tools to support daily tasks and reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
