Job Description
SLA Capital is a U.S.-based private lender specializing in Non-QM real estate investor loans, including DSCR rental loans and Residential Transitional Loans (RTL/Fix & Flip).
We are looking for an experienced Mortgage Underwriter who can independently review loan files, identify risk, and make sound credit decisions.
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. SLA Capital offers very competive rates.
- Review loan files for completeness, eligibility, and compliance with company and investor guidelines.
- Analyze borrower credit, liquidity, experience, and overall risk.
- Review appraisals, title commitments, insurance policies, entity documents, leases, and supporting loan documentation.
- Evaluate DSCR, loan-to-value, loan-to-cost, and collateral eligibility.
