Job Purpose
An MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) Coach at a martial arts academy plays a critical role in training and developing fighters in various disciplines such as Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu, Muay Thai, wrestling, and boxing to compete in MMA competitions. The coach is responsible for creating a structured training program, improving fighters’ skills, ensuring their safety, and fostering a positive, disciplined training environment.
Technical Instruction
Instruct fighters in martial arts techniques, forms, and fundamentals with precision and clarity. Introduce the discipline or technique of focus for each class such as striking, grappling, submissions, takedowns, and self‑defence. Ensure a clear understanding of proper execution of techniques, stances, and movements. Provide demonstrations and explanations tailored to various skill levels, accommodating beginners and advanced fighters. Demonstrate correct form, footwork, and body mechanics.
