Job Description

• Set up and operate horizontal and vertical boring mills (manual and CNC).
• Perform precision boring, drilling, facing, and threading operations..
• Select, mount, and maintain appropriate tooling and cutting inserts.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters for different materials (steel, stainless steel, cast iron).
• Conduct preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of boring mills.
• Ensure dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate inspection and job records.
• Assist in continuous improvement of machining processes.
• Mentorship of junior machinists and apprentices.
