Mining Tire Technician at Detour Lake

Agnico Eagle seeks a knowledgeable Tire Technician for our Detour Lake Mine. Join us in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our mining equipment's tires on a 14/14 schedule.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Mine Maintenance Supervisor within the Mobile Maintenance Department. A minimum of five years of experience in tire maintenance, particularly with larger mining tires, is essential. Your competency in operating tire manipulators and light vehicles for assessments will be vital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Measure and replace tires and rims effectively
• Inspect tires and wheel components regularly
• Drive light vehicles to troubleshoot tire problems
• Change tires using a tire manipulator
• Record maintenance and repair inventory accurately
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of Tire Technician experience
• Familiarity with Ultra class size tires 795 and 798
