Miner (Pipeline building & Succession planning)

Duties & Responsibilities The miner is legally appointed in terms of Regulation 2.9.2 of the Minerals act and is responsible for ensuring that safe quality work is achieved daily by his/her team. The job entails a proactive approach to all safe production issues in the workplace and requires effective supervision. The job holder needs to provide strong leadership, supervision, PLOC in ensuring all legislative, policies and procedures are fully complied with including, controlling and directing all activities of subordinates within his/her area of responsibility and as such takes on the role of coach, mentor and instructor to explain how safe work should be performed in a safe production environment. The Job holder is responsible to perform safe blasting activities as per standard in order to produce gold.
