**Mid- QA Automation Testing****Role Summary**Mid automation tester who builds stable test scripts, executes regression suites, and collaborates closely with devs.Basic understanding of **Guidewire workflows** is a plus.
**Responsibilities**- Automate UI/API test cases (frameworks like Selenium + Java, REST Assured).
- Maintain regression suites; log defects with actionable details.
- Pair with developers on story acceptance criteria and test data setup.
- Execute smoke/regression tests in CI; report results.
**Must-Have Skills**- Basics of test automation (Selenium/WebDriver), Java, TestNG/JUnit.
- API testing (Postman/REST Assured), JSON/XML, basic SQL.
- Understanding of SDLC, defect lifecycle, and version control (Git).
**Nice-to-Have (Guidewire)**- Familiarity with common **Guidewire scenarios** (FNOL, endorsements, ...
