Metrology Calibration Technician

**Description:** 1. Calibrates Precision Electronic Test Equipment to verify established tolerances using standard Metrology practices and specified manuals or calibration procedures.
2. Performs algebraic, trigonometric and calculations to determine operating characteristics of equipment.
3. Maintains electronic test equipment in proper operating condition through periodic inspection, calibration, troubleshooting and repair.
4. Troubleshoots, repairs, modifies and overhauls electronic test equipment through use of schematic diagrams, logic diagrams or instruction sheets as furnished (may be vague and incomplete as a result of uniqueness).
5. Repairs test fixtures and equipment using hand tolls and small machine tools as necessary.
6. Suggests electrical or mechanical design variations to meet new requirements subject to approval by design authority.
