This position will be responsible for supervising personnel and activities within the lab as well as performing various types of technical tests and analysis to help our customers achieve excellence in materials processing and welding through collaboration and technical knowledge.
Interaction with customers and SGS Engineers/Technologists to determine job requirements, specify tests, develop test methods and complete work in a technically correct, timely and safe manner.Maintain Laboratory and personal work area in a clean and professional manner.Hire, manage, train, and develop employees within the laboratory.Work within the rules of the ISO 17025 quality program.Write work orders and interact with customers and co-workers to establish and maintain testing schedules and delivery dates.Provide assistance in the daily testing if required.Develop, write and maintain testing procedures in c...
